Strengths
Some of the strengths that Poland's social services and welfare system integrate is the fact that there is multiple subsystems to cover all aspects and ages of life from workers comp to WIC. Researching Poland, I noticed there was a lot of focus on making sure all types of welfare was available for our children. Almost all of the businesses such as head start and WIC would give you same day answers to see if your family would be eligible for their benefits. Also the amount of volunteering throughout the community to help aid the needy, injured, or elderly was overwhelming.
Weaknesses
Even though all of the social services you could think of are available to the community, the one big weakness was the fact that the vast majority were located within Mahoning County and not specifically to the township of Poland. Even though there is transportation such as WRTA, there is still only certain pick-up areas and not everyone can even afford a bus ride.
